Busy in Mexico
We’ve been in Mexico a couple weeks and we have yet to write about it here on Worldiki. Why haven’t we told you all about the place yet? Well, first of all we’ve been so busy since we arrived, it seems like the more we travel, the more opportunities come up and it’s really hard to find time to do each and every one of them.
After arriving in Mexico City, we went north to Monterrey where we had some business to do, and most of our time there was spent working! But of course, we did get some time for fun, and we went to a national park where we saw wood peckers, and to an indoor skating rink where we slid around on the ice. So while we did get video and photos of the places we went to, don’t expect pictures of the skating though, we didn’t want to risk taking our camera on the ice and we left it behind while skating.
We’re now in a town called Cuernavaca which is about 80km from Mexico City and there are a lot of interesting things to see in the vicinity.
Hernan Cortes’ house in Cuernavaca
Hernan Cortes was one of the first Spanish Conquistadores to come to South America. He conquered the Aztecs - virtually destroying them - and set up his capital in Cuernavaca. The landmark building in the center of town is his former house which was built in the 1500s.

We have some interesting videos and when we get the time, we’ll edit and upload it here ![]()

Nice to hear from you again! Thought you got lost in the Mexican border
Must be hard to balance work and play?
Monterrey! I spent 14 days there last year where my friend took part in a Deca-ironman race in a park! (Thats Parque Ninos Heroes ->translates into the Park of Little Heroes) Not the same park u went to i’m guessing! haha…
Met many crazy and fun people around the world but didn’t get to see much of Monterrey, just remember a very nice traditional mexican buffet place. Hope u had fun with all the work and I’m sure u’r enjoying Mexico loads!
